Set on the banks of the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, Waterfest features nationally-recognized music acts throughout the summer season. The Leach Amphitheater is one of the most well-known concert venues in the Fox Valley, giving concert-goers an exceptional experience. This year’s acts included The Bodeans, Huey Lewis and The News, and The Wallflowers, all of which have had tremendous success in the music industry. Wisconsin Herd/Oshkosh Arena
This November marks the beginning of the NBA Development League’s season, where Oshkosh will be the official home for the Wisconsin Herd, a minor league team for the Milwaukee Bucks. The Oshkosh Arena is currently under construction on the city’s south side, right on Main St and is scheduled to be completed in the next couple of months. Along with basketball the Oshkosh Arena will also host a variety of other events, such as concerts and various sports’ competitions.
