Front Desk Guest Service Representative

The Best Western Waterfront Hotel is looking to add some new smiling faces to our Front Desk. This position is a combination of 1st and 2nd shifts along with Weekend availability.  Do you like meeting and talking with people from around the world, working in a fun,fast paced environment with a bunch of great people? If you do, our Front Desk just might be the place for you.

This position will be Full time with a starting hourly wage between $12.00 and $12.50 an hour. We offer Health and Dental benefits for our full time staff after 30 days, along with a $100 bonus after 90 days. Some of the other benefits are discounted stays at any Best Western around the world, discounted meals at our on site restaurant, access to the hotel workout room and pool. After a year of service we give Paid Time Off and offer a 401(k) plan.

This list of duties is not all-inclusive but rather a general guideline. Other duties may be assigned.

Must demonstrate leadership ability in performing all front office operations i.e., in depth knowledge of the Property Management System (PMS), online reservations system, general computer and office equipment use skills, etc.

Work as a guest service representative with the additional responsibilities of directing other guest service representatives, public area attendants, housekeepers and shuttle drivers to properly follow-through with their job responsibilities.

Direct team members to handle guest needs and requests.

Display complete knowledge of front and back office tasks and responsibilities, local and area information and resources, and a reasonable understanding of all other areas of the property.

Promote a front desk culture of pride, attentiveness, knowledge and friendliness resulting in superior customer service for our guests and a pleasant and enjoyable work environment for all Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel associates.
